Eye of the horse
Sometimes it's fun and beneficial to just draw a portion of something - like in this case the eye of horses. I drew out the eyes first and then painted them in watercolour.
Still Life sketches
Watercolour still life sketches
I sometimes like to add inspirational sayings to some of my sketches, as
I have done with these.
Wooden bird houses: "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then is not an act but a habit"
Wooden sculpture: "The person who really wants to do something finds a way; the other person finds an excuse." & "You can always get what you want, but if you try, you'll find you get what you need."
Fruit still life: "Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow."
