This is a small 8" x 10" watercolour.  I've been having fun doing semi abstracts lately. I like the shapes and the feel of the quilting effect seen in landscapes.

Art Focus Demo - SOLD

On May 23, 2012  I was invited to give a watercolour demonstration to the Port Coquitlam Art Focus Group.  For the first part of the demo I did a exercise for practising your brush strokes and testing out colour triads which ends up looking like a quilt and for the second part of the demo I started a small painting of a pear but time allowed for me only to run the inital washes.  Here is the finished painting for anyone wondering if I actually did finish it!

AROUND THE INLET SHOW JULY 12 - AUG.4, 2012

I am pleased to be a part of the "Around the Inlet" Suite E Drawing Group  show on that will run from July 12 to Aug. 4, 2012. The opening reception of this show is from 6-8pm on Thursday July 12, 2012 at Place des Arts at 1120 Brunett Ave. Coquitlam, B.C.

I will have both watercolor and acrylic paintings on display and  there will be artwork of all sizes and mediums by our members all of various images of things enjoyed around the inlet.
