This is a small 8" x 10" watercolour.  I've been having fun doing semi abstracts lately. I like the shapes and the feel of the quilting effect seen in landscapes.

Art Focus Demo - SOLD

On May 23, 2012  I was invited to give a watercolour demonstration to the Port Coquitlam Art Focus Group.  For the first part of the demo I did a exercise for practising your brush strokes and testing out colour triads which ends up looking like a quilt and for the second part of the demo I started a small painting of a pear but time allowed for me only to run the inital washes.  Here is the finished painting for anyone wondering if I actually did finish it!
